Find a screenshot by the words inside it.
Image-text search is coming to CopyCalm: the plan is to find original screenshots through OCR results. Today you can extract text from a selected image on demand. Searching that text across clipboard history is not released yet.
Updated November 3, 2026
What you can do today
Copy a screenshot, open CopyCalm with Ctrl+Alt+Space, select the image and choose Extract text. You can read and copy the result. Extracting text and finding images through a history search are separate capabilities.
Planned search scenarios
Look for an order number, error message or meeting keyword inside a screenshot to find the image containing it. Indexing and interaction details will follow the released version; no release date has been set.
OCR limitations
OCR currently runs on demand for the selected image, without scanning all history automatically. Accuracy depends on image clarity and the OCR languages available in Windows. Check results against the original image.
Try it on your own PC
CopyCalm needs no account, keeps history on your PC and opens with Ctrl+Alt+Space.
